Operation Methods and Precautions of Hydraulic Sheet Bending Machine

Ⅰ. Operation methods of hydraulic sheet bending machine


1. Stroke adjustment, the hydraulic sheet bending machine must pay attention to adjusting the stroke, and be sure to test run before bending. When the upper die of the bending machine descends to the bottom, there must be a gap of plate thickness. Otherwise it will cause damage to the mold and the machine. The stroke adjustment also has electric quick adjustment and manual fine adjustment.


2. For the selection of the bending notch, a notch with a width of 10 times the thickness of the plate should generally be selected. If you bend a 4mm sheet, you need to choose a notch around 40. The largest slot can be folded 10mm board. Boards exceeding 10mm are not allowed to be used.


3. The adjustment of back gauge generally has electric quick adjustment and manual fine adjustment, and the method is the same as the shearing machine.


4. Step on the foot switch to start bending. The bending machine is different from the shearing machine. It can be released at any time. Release the foot and the bending machine will stop, and then step on to continue downward.


Ⅱ. Precautions for operating hydraulic sheet bending machine


1. Check the overlap and firmness of the upper and lower molds; check whether the positioning devices meet the requirements of being processed.


2. When the upper slide plate and each positioning axis are not at the origin, run the return-to-origin program.


3. After the hydraulic sheet bending machine is started, it will run dry for 1-2 minutes, and the upper slide will move at full stroke for 2-3 times. If abnormal sound or malfunction is found, stop immediately, remove the malfunction, and work after everything is normal.


4. One person should command uniformly during work, so that the operating personnel and the feeding and suppressing personnel can cooperate closely to ensure that the cooperating personnel are in a safe position before they can send out the bending signal.


5. When the sheet is bent, it must be compacted to prevent the sheet from curling up and hurting people during the bending.


6. The power supply must be cut off when adjusting the sheet metal die, and the operation should be stopped.


7. When changing the opening of the variable lower mold, no material is allowed to contact the lower mold.


8. When the machine tool is working, no one is allowed to stand behind the machine tool.


9. If the workpiece or mold is found to be incorrect during operation, stop and correct it. It is strictly forbidden to correct it by hand to prevent hand injury.


10. It is forbidden to fold over-thick iron plates or quenched steel plates, high-grade alloy steels, square steels, and sheets that exceed the performance of the sheet metal bending machine to avoid damage to the machine tool.


11. Frequently check the overlap of the upper and lower molds; whether the instructions of the pressure gauge meet the regulations.


12. Shut down immediately if abnormality occurs, check the cause and eliminate it in time.


13. Before the hydraulic bending machine, place wooden blocks on the lower molds under the cylinders on both sides to lower the upper slide plate onto the wooden blocks.


14. Exit the control system program first, and then cut off the power supply.
