1. The reversing valve unable to change direction or slow reversing action are generally caused by poor lubrication, stuck or damaged spring , oil stain or impurities stuck in the sliding part, etc. In this regard, we should first check whether the oil mist device works normally and the viscosity of the lubricating oil is appropriate. If necessary, we should replace the lubricating oil, clean the sliding part of the directional valve, or replace the spring and directional valve.


2. After a long time of use, the directional valve is prone to wear of valve element sealing ring, damage of valve stem and valve seat, leading to leakage in the valve, slow action of the valve or failure of normal directional operation. In this case, the sealing ring, valve stem and valve seat, or the change-over valve should be replaced.

3. If the inlet and exhaust holes of the solenoid pilot valve are blocked by oil, mud or other impurities, thus the sealing can not be tightly closed, the movable iron core is stuck, and the circuit breaks down, they all can possibly cause the reversing valve unable to change direction normally. In these three cases, the oil, mud or other impurities on the pilot valve and movable iron core should be cleaned.

For example, if the relatively thick material measures 1/4 inch in thickness, bending 10 inches requires 165 tons, and bottomed die bending even requires 600 tons. If most of the work pieces are 5 feet or shorter, then the weight should be reduced by half, thus greatly cutting down the purchase cost. The length of parts is very important for choosing specifications of a new machine. Bending deformation of sliding block of 10 foot workbench is fourfold that of 5 foot workbench under the same load. That is to say, shorter machines require adjustment by less gaskets to produce qualified parts, which reduces the gasket adjustment and shortens the preparation time.

Material grade is also a key factor. Compared with low carbon steel, the load required by stainless steel is usually increased by about 50%, while the soft aluminum of most grades is reduced by about 50%.
